The Delay in Inaugurating NAOSS’s NCR: An Attempt to APCify Honorable Members

 

Hint:

• NAOSS means - the National Association of Osun State Students.

• NAOSS has three structures, and are The Congress, The NEC, and the NCR.

• The President is the head of the National Executive Council, while the National Conference of Representatives means NCR (performs parliamentary functions.)

 

At first, I was thrilled that the appointed president by consensus will be able to rearrange some odd events about the union being a year 4 student of law with several assumptions of exposure were the thoughts I had.

Surprisingly, this is just the 4th month of his inauguration and we have seen that even if you become a leader by happenstance, the spirits of failure that dwell inside of you, will widely publicize your weaknesses.

Recall that since the inauguration of the Moshood Agboola-led administration about four (4) months ago as the president of the National Association of Osun State Students based on the consensus reached by the body of stakeholders, (NAOSS-NHQ), there have been a series of annoying, disappointing, and ugly scenarios being executed by the President and some of his team members under the aegis of our noble union.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have it on good authority that Moshood Agboola, the President of NAOSS-NHQ has ordered all the intending honorable members from all the local governments in the State that the only condition precedent to have any of them inaugurated is for each of them to present his/her APC membership card.

One of my sources confided in me that (the President) messaged him directly asking for his APC Membership Card as that will form the basis if he will be inaugurated with others or not.

Going further, I took it upon myself to consult other intending NCR members from other local governments; ladies and gentlemen, the responses given to me remain the same as what I earlier had.

The motive is to screen the incoming honorable and to ensure that only APC Members have access to the “throne” of a students’ union body.

One could wonder about the nexus between the delay in inaugurating the Council of Representatives and the APCification agendum.

From the revelations leaked to me, many of the intending NCR members refused to become a member of the APC in the name of student politics that supposedly should have no affiliation with any political party.

Some of them who are eager to become honorable by all means equally promised to get the card from their respective wards. It is in lieu of these issues that the National President has decided to put the inauguration on hold until the people concerned are fully APCified.

It should also interest you to know that in this game of APCifying NAOSS, Moshood Agboola also known as JUSTICE is not alone, he’s only acting as an errand boy that he is by reechoing the voice of the stakeholders (one-time executives of the union that have served the union some 5, 6, 7 or many more years ago).

As you may be aware, Moshood is an APC member who is also bent on using the union to work for the re-election of Governor Oyetola. This is evident in the sponsored protest he led against the factional leader of APC in the State as part of his hell-bent attitude to satisfy his Controllers.

Dear NAOSSITES, even if we want to pardon the politically-motivated protest that was led by Moshood Agboola in the name of the union against another faction of the All Progressives Congress, will we also pardon the Clown as he is ready to totally cede OUR Noble Union to his party, APC?
