PEOPLE'S PERCEPTION ABOUT US; COULD IT BE REGARDED AS A CONDEMNATION OR A CHECK WITH RESPECT TO OUR INDIVIDUAL LIVES?
It's a naturally settled principle of human race, that the ways of life of an individual or a group of people will definitely attract people's comment; either positively or negatively. In fact, it's believed by so many people, if not all, that even if one's good tidings speaks volume to the extent of being heard by the deaf and on the equal measure, being viewed by the blind, still that doesn't stop people from commenting on one's ill part.
Most of the times, some set of people pretend not to care about people's perceptions, beliefs, comments, or what's generally regarded as "beef" about them while deep inside of them they're weighed down by the said beliefs they pretend not care about because in one way or the other, they feel disappointed, underrated or perhaps depressed as a result of the bad impression people have about them.
On the equal measure, another set of people place themselves on top of the world as a result of people's exaltations and praises about them; well, none is all good and at the same time, none is all bad. This posits that ordinarily, the words of men are meant to affect us in every of our dealings but obligatorily, we're to build ourselves above whatsoever is being said about us which practically places us in the position where we see people's perceptions as comments that's necessarily needed for the sake of checking ourselves, or rather, permit me to say our dirt and amend them rather than instituting or fueling needless enmity with the commentators.
As human beings, we must however, note that people's belief, even if premised on condemnation, or if it appears in such manner is not to destroy us as we do believe. We must pick up people's comment as a challenge that motivates us to strive better for the opportunities lying ahead of us.
Conclusively, we must present ourselves in a manner that we'll be glad to accept everybody's comment, no matter how bad it is even at face value, because through that can we only be able to embrace their comments, amend our ways and place ourselves in a position or path of attaining greatness we all admire.
