Hon. Mutiu Kunle Okunola who was the chairman of the October 1st national Conference of Youth Advancement Initiative held in Lagos State, has spoken Inspiring words to motivate and awaken the minds of youths to rise from their slumber and see needs for a change in Nigeria.
When speaking on the theme of the Conference, tagged : Build your potential not just the certificate, in his well packaged speech " he made youths to understand that once you have a grip on your strengths and weaknesses, your next challenge is to figure out what you truly enjoy doing. What’s your dream job? How well does it match what you currently do? Many people either don’t know what their passions are or are so focused on the views of their peers that they drift into the wrong career.Its not just about formal education, discovering your potential is the key factor working now in the Nigeria economy. "
He also spoke at length on the incapacitating government who had nothing to show as a tremendous achievement ever since the 60years of Independence.
He added that the high rate of unemployment in the country is due to the uncaring and un-Sympathising government we have.Most of our resources are been sold out to other countries and other few resources and infrastructures we have are been managed by foreigners.
He expanciated further that nothing is going to work if Nigerians (youth) do not rise to speak with a voice for change, most importantly finding solution within solutions.
