NAOSS MATHEMATICS COMPETITION: Afolabi Boluwatife Emerges, Defeats Other Participants.

  

One Afolabi Boluwatife, a student of Intellectuals' Academy, Oyan, Odo-Otin Local Government, has been declared as the overall winner of the Mathematics Competition which was organized by the National Association of Osun State Students, National Headquarters, after having defeated his counterparts across the State 

The Contest which took place on Monday, 30th day of November, 2020 at Ataoja School of Science Osogbo, Osun State, had  about 93 participants in which 3 participants represented each of the local governments in Osun State including the Area Council.

At the Grand-Finale of the Annual Weekly Program held at Atlantis Event Centre, Osogbo Osun State on Saturday, 6th of December, 2020, Afolabi Boluwatife who represented Federation of Odo-Otin Students' Union alongside his colleagues from Intellectuals' Academy, Oyan, and others across the State, were certified and accordingly awarded.

While presenting the award, the National President of the National Association of Osun State Students, Comrade Teslim (Speaker) commended the brilliance rightly exhibited by Afolabi and encouraged him to maintain the stand. He however stated that the prize shall be given at a latter date which will be in form of money.

Furthermore, Adeyemi Omolara and Adeniran Nafisat, Students of same Intellectuals' Academy, Oyan, who also participated in the Competition as representatives of Federation of Odo-Otin Students' Union were equally certified as they fall among the top-5 category.

While speaking with OUR REPORTERS, the National President of Odo-Otin Students' Union, Comrade Mustapha Ademola Kehinde expresses joy and satisfaction with the outcome of the contest and also commends the process.

Comrade Toyese Yasari(Toyestic) who is the Honorable representing Federation of Odo-Otin Students' Union, in his satisfaction, commends Afolabi, the Administration of both NAOSS NATIONAL & FOSU NATIONAL and the students were not left unappreciated.

CORNELIUSLINKS REPORTERS also interviewed the Vice-President of the Federation of Odo-Otin Students' Union, National Headquarters, Comrade Adewuyi Omotola Olaide, who also expressed satisfaction in respect of the Contest and added that; INTELLECTUALS' ACADEMY, OYAN, has established that very unchallenged supremacy above every other Secondary Schools in Osun State when it comes to Mathematics Contest.

He therefore, lauds the effort of the teachers and the founder of the School.
