Group Commends Akeredolu for banning cattle movement within cities, under-aged and night grazing; calls on security agencies for full enforcement.

The President of CONYSA, Amb. (Prophet) Ade mario Emmanuel has commended the governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his doggedness in coming out clearly to address a long-due security challenge of his state. 

Recall that His Excellency, the Governor of Ondo state announced yesterday that a 7days vacation notice to herdsmen, ban on movement of cattle within cities and highways including night and under-aged grazing within the territorial jurisdiction of his State.

The Governor who made pronouncement of this hard decision through his official and verified twitter handle lamented that "this move become very necessary as some bad elements masquerading as herdsmen have turned our  forest reserves into hideouts for keeping victims of kidnappings, negotiating for ransoms and carrying out other criminal activities."

 He added that "as the Chief Security officer of the State, it is my constitutional obligation to do everything lawful in protection of lives and properties of every residents of the State". 

Amb. Ade Mario through his Press Secretary, Ordinary M. M. Saganuwa, hereby call on all  security agencies to be proactive and carry out this task with due diligence and in a manner that would be crisis and insurrection free.
