St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Oyan, Diocese of Osun has rolled-out her list of programs for the 120th anniversary of the church’s establishment in Oyan, Osun State.
In the memo released by the Vicar of the church, Venerable O. I Akintunde which reads; we shall be celebrating our anniversary in grand style to mark the existence of the church for the past 120years. It is on record that the church has faced several challenges right from time but to the glory of God, the church is still standing and advancing the kingdom of God in the territory. Different programs are slated for the week which commenced with rally on Sunday, 4th April, 2021.
Venerable Akintunde who’s also the Archdeacon of Oyan Archdeaconry hereby invites the young, old, feeble, strong and all manner of men to the different programs slated for a week which shall continue with Health Talk on diabetes, Free Health Test, and Friendly Football Match from 2pm – 4pm and 4pm – 6pm respectively. Bible Quiz shall hold amongst the groups in the church on Friday, 9th of April, 2021 by 4pm while the grand-finale shall be on Saturday, 10th of April, 2021 at the church auditorium, Oke-Odo, Oyan with Award and Launching of N 20 Million for Investment Fund for the Church at exactly 10am.
“The thanksgiving service shall hold at the same church auditorium by 10am on the 11th of April, 2021”, he said.
