THE HAND OF ESAU BUT THE VOICE OF JACOB

The Ondo State command have noted with dismay the hands of Esau but the voice of Jacob in the dastard killings of indigenes of Ondo State in Plateau State.

While we commend the quick response of the security forces and the People's Governor of Ondo State; Arakurin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, Governor of Ondo State we believe that much was left undone by Plateau State government. 

The calculated attempt to subtly present the issues on mistaken identity and religious crisis further drives home our views. 

As young security experts who have undertaken personal and rigorous research on security issues, particularly community security, we find it disturbing that there was no distinction of the Ondo State speaking natives by the assailants. 

Bearing in mind the uniqueness of our people in both morphological and phrenological structures, it would be difficult to accept the narratives of mistaken identity. 

The destination of the vehicle on board, should have further sent the requisite message to this groups, if the story presented is anything to go by. The apex youth security unit of our State, rejects vehemently this orchestrated story to reduce the potency of the damage done. The killings of Ondo State indigenes in Nigeria within Plateau State is a threat to the cooperate existence of Nigeria. 

We make bold to say that while in a Strange land or subtly put a land other than your ancestral land, it is the duty of the government of wherein your abode is to provide the required security for the people. Plateau State government and it's people failed us.

We call for little patience, not total patience. Our people must speak out and follow such within the ambiance of the law.

CONYSSA ONDO STATE COMMAND, will be discussing with its legal unit on the process of instituting a case against the government of Plateau state for failing in its primary responsibility to our people.

The Statement of our Governor is that of an elderstateman who wants peace and we respect it. Furthermore, we the people in joining our Governor to speak for the safety of our people are willing to activate all legal process to call a spade a spade, and prevent further reoccurences.

We cannot accept this killings, without a clear answer from the government of Plateau State and its conspirators. 

This is a clear cut indicator that our people are only safe within our community. Following our unperturbed stance to end insecurity in Ondo State and Nigeria at large.

We make bold to say that there is more to this case than meets the eyes. This we shall take up and follow suit within the ambiance of the law. The perpetrators and all their supporters must be brought to justice. 

The arrested suspects must be treated as people of interest against the cohesion of Nigeria and its sovereignty. 

The issues must not be treated with kid's glove. CONYSSA Ondo State command, have been duly briefed. We have gathered sufficient information from the security agencies in Plateau State, which in the interest of not concluding investigation before investigations will be reserved until investigations are over.

However, the Governor of Plateau State is hereby given and ultimatum of 72 hours to provide our people with sufficient reasons why we should not consider him as grossly incompetent and complacent in the ordeals that happened to the good people of Ondo State.

We are aggrieved, griefing is taking the better part of us and only a sufficient cause to prove that it was not the hands of Esau but the voice of Jacob that played out in Plateau massacre of Ondo State indigenes can parcify us now!!!

The blood of our people cry for vengeance and justice at the same time. We are maintaining our calm as directed by Mr. Governor. 

We reiterated that the investigation must not be swept under carpet by supposed forces beyond the control of the government as that has become the benchmark. Just like in the Lagos #EndSars massacre. The troublesome and thoughtless manners of ending promising lives in Nigeria has made the price of human life, less than a Kobo. This is a recipe for the unimaginable. 

By this statement the entire team of CONYSSA ONDO STATE COMMAND is hereby put on a high risk security alert. All borderline between Ondo State and other states must be monitored closely. 

We cannot be intimidated . We cannot be consume! Indigenes of Ondo State in any part of Nigeria should at all points have an emergency contact information or message written to any relative resident in Ondo State henceforth.

May this tragedy and affliction never rise the second time. 

The security of lives and properties of our people remains our watch word in the state command while we graciously wish and work towards same in other parts of the country.
