Group Discuss Solutions To Insecurity As National Leader Inaugurates State Excos

A group called CONYSSA has met to chart the way forward to the insecurity battling the country. 

In the speech delivered by the national coordinator, Amb. Ade Mario, the statement reads:

"There is no gain saying that NIGERIA is facing immense challenge of insecurity. These range from kidnapping, banditry, Boko-Haram, armed-robbery to mention but a few. The present day secessionists is also becoming something else which requires serious minded attention and redress. "

 "But then, the question is, should the security of the federation be taken as the sole responsibility of the government without any compliment or intervention?

 What would be the faith of our communities, families, love ones and the country in the next 4 to 5 years amidst this conspicuous human live consumption? 

What have the youths done being the larger and sophisticated fraction of the people of Nigeria in solving the problem?"

"Finally, what would this generation have to say or tell the next generation of their stride and effort in support of this strong and indestructible nation during this trying time of affliction when asked by the younger ones?"

This rhetorical questions and more are reasons and brain behind the coming together and emergence of this strong, formidable youth interventionists called "The Coalition of Nigeria Youths on Security and Safety Affairs (CONYSSA)".

The Coalition of Nigerian Youth on Security & safety Affairs (CONYSSA) is a robust and pragmatic Interventionist Initiative of Young Leaders from various organizational backgrounds, majorly Para-Military Youth Bodies, mandated by the umbrella bodies of the Youth and Students of the Nation, cutting across all the States and Local Government Areas of the Federation, with a firm resolve to mobilizing massive support and encouraging maximum cooperation for the Nations Security Agencies from the Youth, for radical improvement of the Security Record of the Country, while contributing remarkably to curbing of the escalating Security Challenges Nationwide.

VISION

To build a complementary and effective Youth Structure to collaborate and cooperate with the Security Outfits of  Nigeria, to combat the rising Security Challenges across the country, resulting in improved security of lives and properties in all Communities of the Nation.

MISSION

To sensitize the Nigerian Youth to own up Security as Constituency responsibility, while bridging the relationship gap between the Youth and Security Agencies in the Country, and developing a viable Feedback Mechanism, fostering enhanced flow of information with mutual trust, guaranteeing the safety of both Informants and Security Personnel.

GOAL

To set up proactive Independent Youth Security Situation Rooms (IYSSR) or Cells in the 774 Local Government Areas and security Red-spot Communities in Nigeria with a Central Coordinating Unit, to promptly report crimes and all activities capable of leading to the breakdown of Law and Order in Society, thus reducing the level of Insecurity in the Federation to the barest minimum within the current decade.

CONCLUSION

There is a popular philosophical saying that "problem identified, is problem solved". I am therefore happy to announce to you that our VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT is almost accomplished and that is why we have come today for inauguration of Anambra State executives, for a maiden security summit and flag up of advance synergy with other security agencies for operation we tag *"Anti Drug Consumption and Crime Control"*.

We are also hopeful that we would achieve our stated goal in no time.
