BEING THE TEXT OF SPEECH DELIVERED BY THE NATIONAL SECRETARIAT OF COALITION OF NIGERIA YOUTH ON SECURITY & SAFETY AFFAIRS ON THE OCCASION OF CONFERMENT OF NATIONAL OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AWARD AND APPOINTMENT AS BOARD MEMBER REPRESENTING SOUTH WEST ZONE ON MATTANIAH AKOMU OKODUGHA,

TODAY 27TH OF OCTOBER 2021.

With gratitude to God Almighty who has made this day possible and remarkable, i welcome everyone to this epoch making event where hardwork, dedication and service to humanity will be celebrated. 

Before we start this speech, let us quickly give an insight of what COALITION OF NIGERIA YOUTH ON SECURITY & SAFETY AFFAIRS stands for; CONYSSA is a robust and pragmatic interventionist initiative of young leaders from various organizational backgrounds, majorly para-military and community based youth organizations. Our VISION is to build a complementary and effective youth super-structure to collaborate with the security outfits of Nigeria to combat the rising security challenges across the country, while achieving improved security of lives and properties in all communities of the Nation. And in achieving the aforementioned, we have a MISSION of sensitizing the Nigeria Youth towards placing greater focus on and owing up Security Matters as a major community responsibility, and bridging the widening relationship gap between the youths and the nation's security architecture. Our major GOAL is to reduce crime among the Nigeria youths. 

Why we are here; we are here today to celebrate an achiever whose his antecedent has no blemish, he has written his name with gold on a rock that can't be erase forever. Akomu been a successful young Nigerian is a big challenge to the younger ones that no matter the circumstances surrounding you, you can be what you wish to be in life and give bank to the society. 

His humanitarian services is not achieved because he’s a billionaire but because he is born to give hope of a brighter tomorrow to the younger generation and the less privileged. Outside his Hungry Lagosian Limited, that has been used to create Job, empowerment for youths and many more, Akomu himself has been a blessing to thousands of people everyday. One greater achievement of him is that, he don't need to know you before he makes sure you are lifted up. 

Feeding the nation is one of the aim of any government, with The Hungry Lagosian Limited, Akomu had been able to feed thousands at their doorstep with no stress and minimal fund. 

The youth of every nation are tools used for insecurity and security, Akomu has taken thousands of youth directly or indirectly off the street and this has limit the rate of employment therefore giving the society more peace and on this note do CONYSSA conferred on him AMBASSADOR OF PEACE AND GREAT ICON OF NIGERIAN YOUTH. 

May I therefore crave the indulgence of all to rise, as we are in the labour room of history today, a new personality is about to be born. Get set and stand at the right hand of history, put on your gloves and enter the labour room of history with us and let us mid-wife the birth of these precious child, the new ambassador in town, As we honour an achiever, a role model, a reputable man, a distinguish administrator par excellence, astute developer, efficient, productive, committed, hard-working, conscientious, diligent, industrious and assiduous man, whose character has distinguished him far above other personalities, Amb. Mattaniah Akomu Okodugha with the CONYSA NATIONAL LEADERSHIP AWARD.
