Location of Chinese Medics Unknown -  Minister of Health

Nigeria's Minister of health Dr Osagie Ehanire has said that he is unaware of the location of the 15 Chinese Nationals who recently came into the country to help combact Covid-19.


Dr Osagie Ehanire made this statement while addressing the public during the daily Presidential Task-Force briefing on Thursday.


 The Chinese medical team arrived into Nigeria on April 8, 2020 with medical supplies to help combact the spread of the virus.

Recall that the announcement of the coming in of the Chinese Medics into Nigeria generated many criticism,even from the NMA and many social media users.

Surprisingly, the minister revealed that not all the Chinese Visitors were medics. He said some of them are technicians.

However, he added that the medics are not the guest of the Federal Government but of the CCECC.



Some people alleged that the presence of some Chinese Medics in Italy contributed to the escalation of the pandemic in Italy.
